Last Tuesday 9th of February, Club Natació Banyoles organised a reception to the kayakers that are training in the lake of Banyoles. The act was presided by Àngel Dutras, President of Club Natació Banyoles, and Jordi Congost, Sports councillor of the Town Council of Banyoles.
Among the kayakers training in Banyoles, there are two Olympic champions in Beijing 2008: the russian Maxim Opalev (C-1 500m) and the german Martin Hollstein (K2 1.000m)
